MEET KEESHA

I was born and raised on the south side (south suburbs) of Chicago, and came to Iowa to attend college - majoring in Child, Adult & Family Services, then moving on to earn my Masters (MBA). My background is varied - from operations to grant writing to marketing - but I've always loved creating and building relationships, later, finding myself picking up a camera and never putting it down. In 2021, I became a published photographer, and I couldn't be more excited!

As an entrepreneur and self-taught photographer (I even take my own portraits), my goal is to create an exceptional experience - from initial contact to delivery of your images - because You Deserve It!

 

Ward Creative Studios is a photography company dedicated to capturing YOU - in every way that means. My studio is based in Downtown Des Moines, IA, offering engagement, wedding, maternity, family, individual, grad, headshot, and branding photography. I believe that every person and every moment is unique, and I strive to capture that uniqueness. At all times, I want you to show up as YOU. Many of my clients have never been in front of a camera before coming to me, which is why I make it a point to help you feel comfortable; and before you know it, your confidence level has magnified x10. You'll see that my style is minimalistic, clean, and modern. Though my studio is based in Downtown Des Moines, we can also take your session outdoors or to other indoor locations. When in-studio, have a glass of wine or sparkling water, and let's get your favorite music playlist going.
