COVID-19 Statement: Weddings and Photography Sessions
Updated: Sep 11, 2021
Update: September 11, 2021

At Ward Creative Studios, the safety and well-being of myself and clients is always my priority, and I recognize the important role WCS plays in providing clients with an exceptional photography experience. I'm actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and taking steps to keep us all safe. WCS will continue to operate, therefore, I want to share with you some steps I'm taking as you prepare for your sessions.
MONITORING PUBLIC HEALTH UPDATES I'm closely monitoring updates and recommendations from the Center of Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19.
PROTECTING MYSELF AND CLIENTS As I'm interacting with clients, I am taking steps to limit exposure to the virus.
I am fully vaccinated, as of May 14, 2021. Prior to this, I was receiving a COVID-19 test every two weeks.
I will be in a mask for all sessions. Masks are mandatory for anyone who is a guest in the studio (not taking part in sessions). All individuals who are unvaccinated are recommended to wear a mask upon entry into the building and when leaving.
In addition to my usual cleaning efforts before and after studio sessions, I am increasing the time spent cleaning and sanitizing.
Sessions will be limited to a maximum of 10 people in the studio (including those who are part of the session and those who are not). This is the capacity for family portraits. For each session, the client can bring 1 person who is not part of the session as support.
For Newborn sessions, I wash my hands frequently during our time together.
I know that it's common to greet one another with a handshake or hug, so instead, let's give a wave, smile, and/or Wakanda Forever gesture.
All consultations will take place via Zoom or phone.
SCHEDULED WEDDINGS I recognize that this is a stressful time for couples with so much uncertainty. Please communicate with your venue(s) regarding the ability to still host your wedding. Let's work together to make sure your photography needs are accommodated in the event that your wedding would need to be rescheduled at a later date.
WHAT I ASK OF YOU I'm taking every precaution to ensure the health and safety of our communities, but I need your help.
If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, have a fever, not feeling well, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, and you have a scheduled session, please let me know, as I would be happy to reschedule for a later date to ensure our collective well-being.
